Mimi d’Autremont is a documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Queens, NY. Recent projects include a short documentary (stills and video) for a medical NGO that completed a surgical mission to Uganda; an in-progress documentary about the relationship between rats and humans in New York City; Director of Photography work for the Netflix and Vox series Explained; and her graduate thesis documentary about the world's only Deaf and Hard of Hearing collegiate football team in Washington, DC, which is streams on PBS. Her commercial work often is within the sports and action world, clients have included Under Armour, Puma, Oakley and Food Network, among others.

Mimi is a Mountain Workshops alumni, as well as a member of NPPA, WPOW, FFR and Women Photograph.

Mimi holds an MA in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a BA in Lighting and Video/Projection Design & Art History from Willamette University in Salem, OR.
